Why did you doctor prescribe Provera one week into your cycle? That’s very odd…..
Provera is usually prescribed to bring on a period in women who have not had one in some time (6+ weeks).
Anyway, you haven’t had a withdrawal bleed because by the time you stopped taking the provera, you may have ovulated, which means your body would now be producing its own high levels of progesterone. You won’t have a bleed until your progesterone levels crash, approx. 14 days after ovulation.
At this point, its a waiting game. Wait until your period is due and see if it comes. Testing any sooner than when your period is due could simply be too early to pick up a pregnancy anyway.
I really wish I knew what your doctor was thinking with regards to the provera a week into your cycle ????!!
